Build and launch a real website in one Friday morning.
This four-hour class is where your internship application starts. With live guidance from Joe McKenna and access to Ask Erwin AI and ChatGPT Codex, you will plan, build, review, and launch a working multi-page website. No previous experience is expected. You leave with a site you can show and the skills you will use from day one of the internship.

Do I have to take this class to apply for the internship?+
Yes. Attending Marketing for Beginners is a required step in the CloudWise Academy and AMA East Tennessee State University intern application.
Does the class cost anything?+
No. The class is free for intern applicants, and registering costs you nothing beyond showing up on September 11.
Do I need marketing or website experience?+
No. The class is built for beginners and Joe walks you through every step. The application asks about your experience so we know where you are starting, not to screen you out.
Can I attend online?+
No. This session meets in person only, at 401 Ashe Street in Johnson City. Attending in person is part of the application.
What should I bring?+
A laptop that can get on the internet, plus any notes, photos, or details about yourself or a business you would build a site for.
What happens after I register?+
You get an email with the class details. Bring your laptop on September 11, and your attendance is recorded against your intern application.
Does registering mean I am accepted into the internship?+
No. Registering saves your seat and starts your application. We review applications after the class and follow up with next steps.
