Over the past year, marketing students working through CloudWise Academy, ETSU, and Tusculum University quietly built 96 fully developed websites for local Tri-Cities businesses — and many don't yet know a site exists for them.

The sites were developed as part of a student-led marketing training program focused on real-world, high-impact deliverables using modern AI-assisted workflows.

Who Might Already Have a Site Waiting for Them?

The 96 businesses touched by the program skew local, independent, and small: restaurants, automotive shops, salons, retail storefronts, and family-owned service businesses.

A New Model Quietly Taking Root

"We didn't set out to flip the Tri-Cities web economy," said Joe McKenna of CloudWise Academy. "We set out to train students. It turns out that when you train them well, a lot of real work gets done in the process."
